These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hanweek.com (the "Site") and the free resources we provide. Please read them carefully. By using the Site, submitting your email address, or downloading any resource, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by FROM THE HARMONY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14356620), trading as Hanweek ("we", "us", "our").

2. About the Site

Hanweek provides Korean-language learning materials. On this Site we offer:

  • Free resources (such as cheat sheets and sample workbooks) that you can download by providing your email address; and
  • An email newsletter with Korean-learning tips and updates.

Our paid workbooks are sold separately through our Etsy shop, subject to Etsy's own terms and policies. This Site does not sell products or process any payments.

3. Free downloads — licence and acceptable use

When you download a free resource from us, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal learning only.

You may not:

  • resell, rent, license, or otherwise commercialise the resource;
  • redistribute or share the file publicly, or repost it as your own;
  • remove or alter any branding, copyright notice, or attribution.

If you would like to share a resource with someone, please direct them to @hanweek.study or hanweek.com so they can download their own copy.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in our resources — including text, workbooks, cheat sheets, designs, graphics, logos, and the Hanweek brand — is owned by or licensed to FROM THE HARMONY LTD and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5. Email sign-ups

When you provide your email address, you agree to receive the resource you requested and our marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You agree to provide an email address that you are entitled to use, and not to use the Site to submit false, misleading, or another person's information.

6. Educational purpose and no guarantees

Our resources are provided for educational purposes to support your Korean-language learning. While we work hard to make them accurate and useful, we do not guarantee any particular learning result or outcome, and the materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FROM THE HARMONY LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our resources. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (such as Etsy and our social media accounts). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Following such links is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or our resources at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you additional rights.
